Hey there, I’m Andrew Parsons, a sports photographer based in Brisbane, Australia.

I developed a passion for photography in my late teens, thanks to my mum’s love for capturing my brother’s football games. When her camera broke, I decided to buy her a new one as a Christmas gift. Little did I know, this would broaden my horizons to photography.

As I went down the rabbit hole of finding the best camera and lens for my mum, I found myself falling in love with photography. I bought a camera of my own and also started taking photos of my brother’s games, which led to a growing interest in sports photography.

My brother’s trajectory in football matched my progression in photography. Today, both of my brothers are professional football players. Chris plays for NPL NSW side Sydney Olympic; with Alex playing for Sydney FC in the A-League. It’s been amazing to be alongside them on match-days throughout the years.

Meanwhile, I founded my brand, “Capture One – Sports Media,” providing photography content to clients all around Australia.

At Capture One, our goal is to provide our clients with the highest quality images that not only tells a story but also evoke a sense of passion and excitement.
